From La Salle Academy to PC to the New England Revolution: RI Native Gevork Diarbian to Lead 2025 Turkey Club Thanksgiving Food Box Fundraiser
Rhode Island native and New England Revolution player Gevork Diarbian—a standout from La Salle High School and Providence College—has been named Captain of the 2026 Turkey Club.
This annual initiative, led by the New England Revolution Team Bible Study, partners with the Providence Rescue Mission to help local families in need during the Thanksgiving season. Previous Captains include Teal Bunbury, DeJuan Jones, and Coach Pablo Moreiera.
This year, Gevork will be joined by teammate Cristiano Oliveira as they aim to raise $20,000—enough to provide Thanksgiving Food Boxes for 500 families.

What we're doing:
Each box provides
a 15 pound turkey and
food for up to 5 days
for a family.
Our goal is to
provide 500 families
with a Holiday food box.
We need to
raise $20,000 to
achieve our goal.
The Providence Rescue Mission, who are partnering with us to help raise money for Thanksgiving Week Food Boxes for those in need, provides food boxes to about 2,000 families every week—and that number grows to more than 8,000 during Thanksgiving week. The players will have the life-changing experience of being with hundreds of people in need of food and personally helping to provide it, becoming part of a different kind of team—one that brings hope to those in need.
