Assistant Coach Pablo Moreira Leads Annual Turkey Club Fundraiser to Help Families in Need for Thanksgiving
Revolution Assistant Coach Pablo Moreira is stepping in as the 2024 Team Captain for the Turkey Club Fundraiser, partnering with the Providence Rescue Mission to provide food for families in need this Thanksgiving. This year, Coach Moreira is leading the charge with New England Revolution players Brandon Bye, Jonathan Mensah, Ian Harkes, Nick Lima, JD Gunn, Colby Quinones, and Gio Calderon, as they work to raise $25,000 to provide 625 food boxes for families in need.
Each food box will offer a Thanksgiving dinner and several more days of food for a family of four. With rising costs and increasing demand, the Providence Rescue Mission expects over 6,000 families to request assistance this season.

What we're doing:
Each box provides
a 15 pound turkey and
food for up to 5 days
for a family.
Our goal is to
provide 625 families
with a Holiday food box.
We need to
raise $25,000 to
achieve our goal.
Our partner, The Providence Rescue Mission provided about 7000 families with Thanksgiving Food Boxes last year. This year the need is expected to reach as much as 6000 families and with inflation that number may be even higher! Each $40 box has a Turkey and all the fixings for a family of five for several days worth of meals. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
